San Antonio Youth Hockey Association teams are the Jr. Rampage. The players for our teams compete in the highly competitive Dallas Stars Travel Hockey League (DSTHL) at the Tier II level and can travel throughout North America to compete for league, state, district, and national championships.
Tryouts are competitive and are a two session process in early to mid summer. Every skater hoping to make the team, regardless of previous team status, must tryout each season.
Jr. Rampage hockey guidelines, policies and game rules can be found here: DSTHL, TAHA, RMD and USA Hockey. Some frequently asked questions about the DSTHL can be found here. Association bylaws dictate the structure and business management of the Association. The SAYHA Commissioners are responsible for the composition of the teams, scheduling and coaches.
All House/Recreational level youth hockey players in San Antonio are highly encouraged to tryout for a Jr. Rampage travel team to compete for a spot to play competitive travel hockey.
