The San Antonio Jr. Rampage Hockey program welcomed the arrival of the 2019-2020 season with first practices on Monday, August 5th.  The program iced SIX teams on day one of practices, with a High School team, 14U, two 10U teams, and for the first time in nine years, two teams at 12U. 

The teams meshed well, both on and off the ice, with every player excited to get the season underway.   “What really stands out to me is how close we really are as a team,” said 14U Defenseman Nate Patek. 

“A bunch of us have played together before, some of us since Mites, and we still have a tight relationship with one another.  We just know each other.  The only thing that changes is we all have gotten bigger, faster, and stronger.” 

The 10U through 14U teams will kick off their regular season play in the 16th Annual Texas Shootout in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex over the Labor Day Weekend.
