Board Briefs

Seasons Greetings Jr. Rampage Families!

We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! December holidays are right around the corner, and our last team practices of the 2024 year will be Thursday, December 19th. We wish safe travels to all of our teams visiting family and friends this holiday season.

DASHER BOARDS: We have entered into a revenue sharing agreement with Northwoods Ice & Golf center for selling the dashboards around our ice. We need everyone's help to get these sold! If you know of any businesses, large or small, who may be interested in advertising their company at our rink, please get them an information packet and have them express their interest in the Google Form. The fundraising team is happy to answer any questions; reach out to Jesse, LeAnn, Hill, or Lindsey.

Commissioner Corner

  • Welcome Eric Helstedt to the Board of Directors! Eric brings with him a 10U player and a wealth of hockey knowledge. His board term will run until the end of the 2025-26 season.
  • 16U Head Coach Danny Rosengard has landed a dream job in Michigan doing legal work with the Detroit Red Wings. Danny has been a Jr. Rampage player, a coach, and a referee for over a decade. We miss him already!
  • 14U Assistant Coach Ron Paiva made his coaching debut this year! His wife has accepted an amazing position in Maine, and they're on the road to move there now. Thanks for getting your start with us Coach Ron!
  • Please remember that all players need to come prepared to each game and practice. A water bottle, a neck guard, and a mouth guard are required!
  • For anyone wanting to get trained or refreshed on running the scoreboard and keeping a scoresheet for home games, reach out to Shawn T or Lindsey. We can help you understand what being an off-ice game official entails, and get you setup for success. DSTHL has seen a spike in invalid scoresheet entries across the league, so it's important to be sure that, if you're filling these positions, it's done correctly.
  • The commissioners would like to recognize all players and families for the low amount of disciplinary issues this year. Their jobs are made easier with an organizational culture of hard work, respect, and awareness of the rules. So thank you!

Fiscal Forecasts

  • Please check your SportsEngine accounts for past due orders and invoices. Reach out to Jesse for payment options or discrepancies. When in doubt, communicate!
  • Throw a gift card to The Wash Tub into your loved ones' stockings! They get $25 to get their car washed, you spend $20, and our organization gets $10. Who doesn't love a clean car?
  • Reach out if you'd like to help the organization with fundraising. While it could be easy to simply raise season registration fees as costs go up, we'd rather keep travel youth hockey affordable for our families.

Rampage Roundup

Check out what's going on with our teams!

12U is having a great season!

A Note from Coach Cargile:
Currently sitting in 1st place! We've played 16 games so far, and with an 11-5 record. We're definitely off to a strong start as we hit the midpoint of the season. Huddy is absolutely crushing it, leading the league in every offensive category, and he and Jackson are both in the top 3 for points. Big shoutout to Frenchy for stepping up with some goalie coaching too. Team’s looking strong!

A Note from TM Kate:
We're saying a bittersweet goodbye to Coach Trautman as he moves back to Buffalo, but don’t worry—he’ll still be with us for a tournament in Utah! Last night, we had an awesome team Christmas party filled with games, laughter, and plenty of bonding moments. Check out the pictures to relive the fun!

Check out what 10U is thankful for!
