Some hockey players take the summer off, but not  this Thunder Squirt team.  They decided to test their skills in the First Annual Killer Bee International Ice Hockey Tournament played June 4-6, 2010. 

Thunder swept the four game series to defeat College Station, Mexico's National team and the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees twice.  Allowing only one goal against in the first game, goalie, Jake Ange earned 3 straight shut-outs. 

Several Thunder players also played on the Killer Bee Peewee and Bantam teams.
