Jr. Rampage Goalies Attend GDI Camp

Throughout Canada, the USA and Europe, GDI Regional Camps provide world-class programming on a local/regional basis. Designed for a progression of skill levels, these camps are vital to the long-term growth of a goaltender. Camps for the first two skill levels (GDI1-INTRO and GDI2-ADV) drive home the fundamental skills necessary for more sophisticated development. Camps for the third skill level (GDI3-HP) provide the highest-level instruction available on a regional basis and are designed for elite-level netminders.

Five of our Jr. Rampage goalies attended the week long camp this summer. David Fahey, Colton Rasmussen, Dakota Cyhaniuk, Jake Ange and Cameron Madrid (left to right in photo) worked hard all week. They all came home more technically sound in the crease. San Antonio was well represented and filled ½ of the camp spots. That’s an accomplishment in itself since the camp was in Dallas. This allowed our goaltenders to stick together and when the goalies took a break to play some football they formed the San Antonio team vs. the other goalies. Not only did they work hard but they had a ton of fun too.
