The Peewee Black and Silver teams started to shake off the rust with three scrimmages against Austin this past weekend.  On Saturday the Peewee Black team traveled up I35 to face Austin on their home ice.  The Jr Rampage made a statement by beating Austin 5-2.  On Sunday Austin traveled to San Antonio bringing two teams to meet the Peewee Silver and Peewee Black teams.  The Silver team took the "W" with a commanding 8-4 victory. Directly following the Silver game the Peewee Black team took the ice. After a slow start the Black team finished strong by crushing Austin 5-0. All the San Antonio peewee coaches are looking forward to the Labor Day tournaments. San Antonio has two strong peewee teams that will be a force to deal with when met on the ice.
