One of the seats on the board has come open. Under the by-laws, when that happens outside the usual election cycle, the position is filled by appointment, and the person appointed serves until the seat that person fills comes up for election.

Anyone who is interested in being considered to fill the open spot should let me, Jeff Campbell, Lisa True, Bill Rooney or Don Miller know. All of us can answer questions you might have about the position or being on the board.

We would appreciate it if people would indicate their potential interest by next Thursday, October 28. That wouldn't mean you are committed, just that you are thinking about it, which will help us manage the process. Thanks.
