Discover Offers Youth Hockey Fans Unprecedented Stanley Cup Contest Opportunity

As a reporter passionate about hockey, I thought you might be interested in an exciting opportunity for one youth hockey player to win the experience of a lifetime – a full-on day spent up close and personal with the revered Stanley Cup.
Starting today, Discover is offering a once-in-a-lifetime chance for a hockey player age 13 or younger to spend an entire day with Lord Stanley’s Cup. The winner will receive a breakfast surprise at his or her home with the Cup and be able to share the Cup with his or her teammates and community to bask in the glory of the Cup! This is the first time the NHL has allowed a youth such exclusive access to the Stanley Cup.
Starting today and through April 13, parents of youth hockey players can enter the contest by uploading a short video of their child’s most memorable hockey moment to Facebook.com/Discover. From April 15 – 21, fans and friends cast votes for their favorite video; the three videos that receive the most fan votes will be reviewed by a panel of judges and a final winner will be chosen to spend a day with Lord Stanley’s coveted Cup.
