Volunteer Hours Requirement

 

SAYHA families,
 
We are so pleased to inform you that 2011-2012 Jr. Rampage fees will remain at $1700 per player. This is due to the generosity of Northwood’s by not increasing our ice fees, as well as the funds received from the Rampage. SAYHA has been informed that the ice fees for 2012-2013 season will increase. In order to keep fees as low as possible for our families, we are setting new fundraising/buyout requirements for the 2011-2012 season.  Each family, no matter how many players, will be required to give a single $250 deposit at the time of registration. This deposit will be held until your family fulfills 6 hours of service for the organization or opts to buyout. If you choose the buyout option, your $250 deposit will not be returned and you will not be required to perform any service hours. If you choose to perform service hours, your check will be returned to you within 15 days of completing your hours. We will have many opportunities to earn service hours. A complete list will be emailed to you and also posted on our website by August 19th. A few examples for service hours are candy sales, hockey day, and organizing fundraisers, to name only a few. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any board members for more information.  We are looking forward to an exciting upcoming hockey season.
