2018-2019 Tryout Registration Information and Fee Details

2018-19 GENERAL TRYOUT INFORMATION

The following procedures and guidelines will be used for the Jr Rampage 2018-19 tryouts: 

  • All players registered to try out for a team should be present for all scheduled tryout sessions unless arrangements have been made otherwise.
  • Your player should arrive at the rink for check-in forty-five (45) minutes prior to the assigned tryout time.
  • Upon check-in, your player will be assigned a numbered bib.  All players must RETURN HIS/HER BIB AFTER FINAL SESSION.
  • No spectators will be allowed on, behind, or near the benches.  Violators will be asked to leave.
  • Please note that Head Coaches and/or Assistant Coaches may or may not choose to be on the ice during the tryout sessions.
 

2010 BIRTH YEAR PLAYERS

 

8U (2010 Birth Year) players trying out for the Jr Rampage are encouraged to be familiar with the TAHA Mite ADM Policy, located on page 24 of the TAHA Guidebook/Rulebook.

 

 

TAHA COMMUNITY-BASED RULE

As a TAHA member association, the Jr Rampage is bound by TAHA’s ‘community-based’ policy for all our teams.  If San Antonio is not the closest travel hockey community to the primary residence of a player’s immediate family, please contact one of our association commissioners to discuss the steps needed to be taken.  We strongly suggest that you initiate such requests at least two weeks prior to the date of the Jr Rampage tryout your player wishes to attend. 

Any players residing within TAHA's jurisdiction but outside our boundaries must present evidence of such permission prior to attending our tryouts.

2018-19 PLAYER OFFERS AND CONTRACTS

 

  • Head Coaches will contact each player to advise if they have made the team. 
  • If your 10U/12U player is being offered a spot on a Jr Rampage team roster, you must attend the Contract Signing and apparel sizing on June 25th and complete/execute all applicable/required documentation.
  • 14U, 16U and 18U can try on apparel for sizing on June 25 however contracts will be available online during the Jr Rampage Registration for completion.
  • Understandably, failure to commit will be considered a forfeiture of that roster spot which will be offered to another player.
  • Any player who will be out-of-town during and, therefore, unable to participate in the scheduled tryouts should communicate directly with the age division coaches in that regard as soon as possible.

 

 

2018-19 PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES AND PAYMENT PLANS

Please see below for 2018-19 Player Registration Fees.  The Player Registration Fees shall include those items detailed in the table below.

The Jr Rampage offers the two (2) following payment options for Player Registration Fees:

  • Option 1: Player Registration Fee paid in full at the same time as contract by check the Jr Rampage Assocation will waive the SportsEngine processing fees.
  • Option 2: Divide your Player’s Player Registration Fee into six (6) payments to be automatically debited from your designated account July 15, August 15, September 15, October 15, November 15, and December 15.  All SportsEngine processing fees will be charged on the first payment.

 

Financial Assistance is available for those in need, however per DSTHL rules, we may not consider requests for financial assistance until after the player requesting assistance has committed to a Jr Rampage team.  For more information please visit our scholarship page.
