Meet your head coaches!
We do not have teams without our head coaches, and head coaching is imperative to our players' development. As an all-volunteer organization, that is not lost on us! We cannot thank our coaches enough for volunteering their time, experience, and expertise to the development of San Antonio hockey players. Originally from the DFW area, Coach Clint Hooker brings passion, discipline, and a team-first mentality to the Jr. Rampage organization. Now in his fourth season with the Jr. Rampage, Clint has been coaching youth hockey since 2018, with previous coaching experience in Omaha and Wichita. His approach to the game is shaped by nine years of service in the U.S. Army, where he learned the value of leadership, accountability, and teamwork.
Clint believes that no one player can carry a team—success on and off the ice comes from working together and pushing each other to be better. His teams play a tough, hard-nosed style of hockey built on grit, hustle, and respect for the game.
Clint lives in the New Braunfels area with his wife Katie and their two kids, Luke (11) and Dylan (8).
